Desa Cattle Dairy Farm, fondly referred to as the “Little New Zealand” of Sabah, offers visitors a refreshing escape reminiscent of the lush dairy landscapes of New Zealand. Surrounded by cool highland օդ air, rolling green pastures, and misty mountain views, the farm creates an atmosphere that feels distinctly overseas.

Spanning approximately 199 hectares, the farm is a key dairy producer in the region, generating around 900,000 litres of fresh milk annually. The majority of the herd consists of Holstein Friesian cows, widely recognized as one of the highest milk-producing cattle breeds in the world.

Beyond its scenic beauty, the farm serves as an engaging agro-tourism destination suitable for visitors of all ages. Guests can participate in a variety of hands-on and educational activities, including bottle-feeding calves, feeding goats, and observing the milk processing operations. For those curious about the journey from farm to market, the farm offers valuable insights into how milk is collected, processed, and commercialized.

Over the years, Desa Cattle Dairy Farm has successfully evolved into a sustainable agro-tourism hub, producing a range of high-quality, locally made dairy products. Visitors can enjoy fresh milk, yogurt, cheese, and its signature gelato ice cream, which has become a must-try highlight.

In addition to the live farm experience, the on-site food offerings further enhance the visit. Combining breathtaking views with delicious snacks and beverages creates a truly memorable and enjoyable experience for all.
