Labuan War Cemetery & Memorial is a Commonwealth World War II cemetery located in Labuan. The site serves as the final resting place for many personnel, including Indian and Australian troops, who lost their lives during the Japanese invasion of Borneo and the 1945 Borneo campaign.




The cemetery was established and is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, ensuring the remembrance of those who served. Notably, it is the burial site of war heroes such as Jack Mackey (1922โ1945) and Tom Derrick (1914โ1945), both of whom were awarded the prestigious Victoria Cross for their bravery.
