Pantai Minyak Beku is a historic and scenic beach located in Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia, offering both natural beauty and a glimpse into local history.
Nearby Kampung Minyak Beku is home to the famous chiselled rock, a large stone measuring about ten feet, situated beside the local police station. This rock was carved by the Siamese (Ayudhya) to serve as a fresh water reservoir. Historical records suggest that Siamese soldiers sailed here in an attempt to attack Malacca but were defeated by Tun Perak in the 15th century. Over time, this chiselled rock became so iconic that it inspired the renaming of Bandar Penggaram to Batu Pahat.

The road from Batu Pahat town ends at Kampung Minyak Beku, where visitors will find a handful of local shops offering basic refreshments. A small jetty provides access to fishing activities, with local fishermen available for hire and a stall selling the dayโs fresh catch.
Pantai Minyak Beku is an ideal spot for history enthusiasts, casual visitors, and fishing lovers, combining cultural heritage with coastal charm.
