St. Joseph’s Seminary and Church is a historic seminary and church located in São Lourenço, representing an important chapter in Macau’s religious and cultural history. The seminary was founded in 1728, originally managed by the Jesuits, and later overseen by the Lazarites following the end of the Jesuit mission in the region.

The church itself was constructed in 1758, showcasing colonial-era architecture with intricate details that reflect the European influence on Macau’s built heritage. In recognition of its historical and cultural significance, St. Joseph’s Church was designated in 2005 as part of the Historic Centre of Macau, underscoring its value as a preserved landmark that continues to attract both worshippers and visitors interested in Macau’s rich heritage.
